Sophie Lee is a researcher specializing in disability inclusion, legal-cultural systems and youth equity in Asia. Her work applies transdisciplinary approaches to examine how legal frameworks, institutional structures and cultural norms shape access, representation and opportunity.
In 2025 she presented and published her research paper "Reimagining Disability Inclusion in Hong Kong: A Transdisciplinary Analysis of Legal and Cultural Dynamics," contributing to discourse on inclusive policy and practice. She has supported research across the Faculty of Arts and Department of Psychology at The University of Hong Kong, spanning court interpretation, inclusive education and character strengths in autistic young people.
Her portfolio includes collaboration with NGOs and civil society organisations on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, including a year-long pro bono disability inclusion project with Sensational Foundation. She is currently pursuing a BA&LLB at The University of Hong Kong, strengthening her expertise at the intersection of law, research and inclusive policy design.
