THE INSTITUTE

Evidence for an inclusive future
of work

The Institute is ARC's research arm and social impact engine. We elevate Asian schools of thought and overlooked voices, forecast emerging trends and how they land across the region, and build an evidence base that informs policy, practice and public debate.

PUBLIC RESEARCH PROGRAMMES

What we're researching

Long-term programmes exploring how work is changing across Asia, and who risks being left out.

ACTIVE PROGRAMME 1
Public Baseline Initiative

A longitudinal study tracking workforce inclusion in Hong Kong from 1970 to 2025, bringing decades of data together into a single picture of how inclusion and inequality have changed.

ACTIVE PROGRAMME 1
Mapping the Gaps

Where the Baseline shows what the data captures, this programme examines what it leaves out: LGBTQ+ experience, ethnic minority representation and disability inclusion, where reporting across Asia is often inconsistent or missing.

THE STUDIO

Put the research into practice
